Dissertation / Capstone Project (6 Credits)
Students may undertake either Option 1 or Option 2-
(Option 1) A traditional dissertation-
An original research study grounded in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods.
(Option 2) A professional capstone project-
An applied strategic communication plan, campaign design, policy communication strategy, media intervention, advocacy portfolio.
Both pathways require a clearly defined project scope, methodological planning and critical analysis. Under the guidance of a faculty supervisor, students will develop a detailed project proposal articulating research questions or professional objectives and timeline.
Students will then execute data collection, strategy development, analysis, and interpretation, culminating in a substantial final deliverable. The dissertation option results in a written thesis that contributes to scholarly knowledge, while the capstone option produces a professional portfolio with supporting analytical narrative.

An undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognised university in India or abroad.
